teve Snead is a shareholder with Baty Otto Scheer P.C. and is an experienced civil litigator and mediator in the areas of personal injury, insurance, property and casualty loss, and professional liability including real estate, legal, dental, architectural, engineering, health care matters, and employment and commercial litigation. Steve has represented local, regional, and national businesses, manufacturers, trucking and transportation companies, and individuals in high-exposure cases involving serious and catastrophic injury claims and lawsuits involving brain injury, including closed head injury, complex regional pain syndrome, paraplegia, and quadriplegia, and burn injury cases.
He has been serving as a mediator for civil litigation matters since 2004 and is on the panel of neutrals for the Mediation and Assessment Program of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. A graduate of Missouri State University (B.S. in Accounting, 1978) and the University of Missouri, Columbia, (J.D. 1981) and an AV Preeminent® attorney, Snead is a member of and has served on the Board of Directors and the Bench/Bar Committee for the Springfield Metropolitan Bar. He also is a member of the Missouri Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri.
